PE is situated along the Eastern Coast of SA, and as a result, experiences a number of diverse weather patterns. PE is known as the ‘Windy City’ and the wind certainly does blow here!! However, far from it being a bad thing, it provides valuable experience to trainee pilots and gives them the confidence early on in their careers to handle strong winds.
