The Cape Town Flying Club is dedicated to fostering the spirit of aviation by providing an environment in which members can safely share the fun, excitement, and fellowship of general aviation while benefiting from superior flight training provided by qualified instructors on professionally maintained aircraft at affordable rates.
Cape Town Flying Club is located at Cape Town International Airport. This is an ideal training location as students are exposed to Air Traffic Control (ATC) from their very first lesson, and will not later be intimidated by complicated airspaces, or by the stress of slotting in between large aircraft. It is extremely exciting to watch a Jumbo landing 50 ft away from you. Some students have even been seen waving to the passengers in the terminal buildings as they taxi past.
