Zero Four Flight School Hot

Learning to fly is not just about navigating aircraft through the air. It is also about good airmanship and knowledge of aircraft. We have a structured programme in place to provide all our students with adequate schooling which ensures that every minute in the aeroplane is useful time which in turn means the costs to the student are kept to a minimum.

ZERO FOUR Flight School Student Pilots come alive when they walk through flying school doors. Their eyes sparkle, their voices rise and their smiles are wide. They are energized in anticipation of the challenges and accomplishments in each flying lesson. Their friends would see them as different people when they are at the airport. The excitement is well founded. Few other sports teach their participants to combine knowledge, skill, experience, coordination, logic, initiative and common sense to succeed in a three-dimensional environment. Students leave the airport with a heighten awareness of their surroundings and their capabilities. The drive home from the airport gives them time to revert to who they were, but after flying, they're never quite the same.

Zero Four cares about your training

I have lived in various parts of South Africa and consequently flown with various schools and instructors. It makes such a big difference having a instructor that cares about your training and has the knowledge to help you achieve your goals and improve your skills.

Passion behind Aviation

A real good school for anyone looking for a relaxed environment but proffesional at the same time. Everyone is welcoming and nice and you automatically fit in to the 'family'(It feels like a family because it is not a big school and everyone knows everyone)

The instructors are very proffessional and experienced and you can tell that they not there just to build up hours, but they there for the pure passion of aviation and helping the industry. So you know Im not just promoting the school, my instructor has just over 7000 hours and 1000hrs are from instruction...and....wait for it....and the CFI has more than 22 000 hours including big jets experience.

The aircraft are also in good nic. The school operates two pipers a 140 and 180 for the ab-initio training and are always clean and in good mantainance as the mantaince hangar is just opposite the school

And the airport is moderately busy with some charter flights coming in now and than, meaning you will spend more time flying than on the ground, but also experience having traffic around you.

Really if you are looking for a school that will care about you getting your money's worth and will care about your training, in which you are not just a number to them than this is the school for you without a doubt!!!
